Welcome to our Family!

We would like to welcome you to our TVAG family! As a gymnast in our recreational program, your child will be provided with courage to explore new talents, the confidence to set lofty goals, and the creativity to reach them. Above all, gymnastics develops the motivation and self-discipline to achieve. Our goal is to encourage participation and to pursue excellence in all aspects of gymnastics.

Weather Cancellations

If we close due to inclement weather, we will do so no less than 1 hour prior to your gymnast’s class. Please go to nbcconnecticut.com and set up a weather alert so they will text and/or email you the moment TVAG closes. Our schedule has 2 built in snow days, so make ups will be scheduled in if we surpass that allotted number of missed classes.

TVAG is Closed:

  • Labor Day Weekend: Sept 1st – 2nd
  • Halloween: Oct 31st
  • Thanksgiving: Nov 28th – Dec 1st
  • Christmas Classic: Dec 13th – Dec 15th
  • Winter Break: Dec 24th – Jan 1st
  • Easter: April 19th – April 20th
  • Memorial Day Weekend: May 25th – 27th
  • Fourth of July: July 30th – July 5th

Payment Info

Annual Registration Fee:

  • Individual: $40
  • Family: $75

Monthly Tuition:

  • Tumble: $105
  • Level 1, 2: $105
  • Level 3: $136.50
  • Preteam: $204.75

First Class Guarantee:

  • If for any reason you are not satisfied with your first class, the class is on us and you are free to continue your search for the right gym for your gymnast

Financial

  • Payments are due on the 1st of each month, if you do not wish to have your card automatically charged.
  • Credit cards will be run automatically on or slightly after the 10th of each month or slightly after.
  • a service charge of $25 will be added to your account for any payments that do not go through , NSF or stopped payments.
  • If you wish to cancel your child’s membership or take time off, we must be given 7 days advanced notice otherwise you will be charged accordingly.

Waiting Area

  • Parents’ and gymnasts’ Cell phones should be set on vibrate or silent while in TVAG. High speed WiFi is available on Thames Valley Guest. There is no Password needed.
  • The Dance Room upstairs is for scheduled classes only. All Parents/Siblings must observe form the Observational Area upstairs only.
  • You are welcome to observe your gymnast’s class upstairs in our family waiting/viewing area. Please reserve the bar stool seating area for parents so they may watch their child during practice.

Absences

  • In order for us to keep accurate records of our class rosters, please call ahead if your child will be absent.
  • Make-Ups for missed classes are granted on a space available basis only. Make-Ups can be scheduled up to a week ahead in advance of the desired Day/Time.

Class Policies

  • In case you need to reach your child at any time during his/her class, please call the front desk at 860-866-4006, or see Sue at the front desk.
  • Girls should wear Leotards. Boys should wear a Unitard and shorts. All Participants must have bare feet and have hair tied back. Jewelry should be removed.
  • No outside shoes, gum, food or drinks are allowed in the gym floor.
  • ONLY GYMNASTS are allowed out on the gym floor.
